Waste Porter Location: Colney Lane, Norwich Pay: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00 Contract: Temporary Are you looking for a regular Monday-to-Friday role with weekends free? Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Waste Porter to join their team within a clean and professional healthcare environment. What’s on offer £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00 Weekends free Regular and consistent working hours Clean and professional working environment Easily accessible by public transport Full training and support provided Previous experience preferred but not essential The role As a Waste Porter, you will help ensure waste and hospital logistics are moved safely and efficiently around the hospital site. Your duties will include: Safely moving hospital stores and waste using electric vehicles Receiving, sorting, storing and preparing waste for collection Driving electric vehicles around designated areas while following Health & Safety procedures Carrying out pre-shift checks and reporting any vehicle faults Reporting Health & Safety hazards to the Team Leader Maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and infection control Completing relevant records and paperwork accurately Following Health & Safety, quality and hospital policies and procedures What we’re looking for Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Good communication skills Good customer care skills Reliable, flexible and adaptable Able to follow procedures and Health & Safety requirements A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Interested?
