Waste Services Manager 6-Month Contract Location: Nottingham £27 Hourly Working Pattern: On-site, 5 days per week An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Waste Operations Manager to provide temporary support to a busy local authority waste and recycling service during a period of increased workload. Working alongside the existing Waste Services Manager, you will provide operational leadership across waste and recycling services, ensuring the effective planning, deployment and management of frontline operations and supervisory teams. Key Responsibilities of the Waste Operations Manager Provide operational support across waste and recycling services. Lead on day-to-day service planning and resource deployment. Support Waste Supervisors with operational management and workforce coordination. Ensure efficient service delivery, performance management and customer service standards. Assist with service improvement initiatives and operational projects. Manage health and safety compliance, risk assessments and operational procedures. Produce operational reports, performance information and management data. Support workforce management activities including performance, training and development.
