This is a great opportunity for someone who already has solid water hygiene experience and is confident carrying out works such astemperature monitoring, sampling, TMV servicing, shower descales, tank cleans, disinfections and compliance reporting.
You will be trusted to represent Orion on client sites, so we are looking for someone who isreliable, professional, organised and confident when dealing with clients.
Applicants must have previous water hygiene experience, relevant training or qualifications, a clean UK driving licence, and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
Ideally, you will be based in or nearEast Londondue to the travel requirements of the role.
Salary: £30,000 £32,000 depending on experience Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Travel: Site-based role with daily travel Vehicle: Company vehicle and fuel card provided Key Responsibilities As a Water Hygiene Engineer / Technician, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out water hygiene monitoring and control works Temperature monitoring, flushing and sampling TMV servicing and maintenance Shower head and hose descales Chemical descaling works Tank cleans and disinfections Calorifier / hot water cylinder servicing Calorifier cleaning and descaling Expansion vessel servicing Completing site reports using PDA / compliance systems Making recommendations following service visits Ensuring works are completed in line withACOP L8, HSG 274 and LCA standards Providing excellent service and maintaining positive client relationships Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required Applicantsmust have: Previous experience in water hygiene engineering At least 2 years experience in a relevant water hygiene role Suitable water hygiene training, knowledge or qualifications A good basic understanding ofACOP L8 and HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 and 3 Experience with TMVs, sampling, temperature monitoring, descales and disinfection works Good communication skills and a professional approach with clients Good computer skills and the ability to use PDA / compliance reporting systems A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work independently Clean UK driving licence Ability to drive a manual vehicle Clean DBS record Legionella Awareness Training and City & Guilds water industry qualifications are desirable. xwzovoh
