Working in the water treatment plant, this is a key role providing essential support to our packing and yard operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the water treatment plant, ensuring wastewater is treated correctly and that all waste materials are handled in line with environmental and company policies. Main Duties Handle and treat wastewater, applying chemicals as required. Remove waste soil into the correct skips and tanks. Safely operate and control the water treatment plant. Implement and follow hygiene schedules and cleaning procedures. Accurately record operational data and complete required documentation. Carry out routine checks and report any faults, abnormalities, or maintenance requirements. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Skills & Experience FLT License essential Experience working in a water treatment, wastewater, utilities, manufacturing, recycling, food production, or industrial environment. Knowledge of chemical handling and safe working practices (desirable). Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental procedures. Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping and data entry skills. A flexible and reliable approach with a willingness to learn new processes. Desirable Qualifications & Experience Water treatment or wastewater treatment experience. Understanding of environmental legislation relating to waste and wastewater handling.
