Role: Welder / Fabricator / Fitter
Were recruiting on behalf of several well established engineering companies across the Sheffield & Chesterfield. As a key member of the fabrication and production team, youll contribute to the manufacture of bespoke components and play an important role in delivering high-quality, specialist engineering projects.
Package:
Hours: Days only, with the option of a 4-day working week (Friday off & long weekend) with selected clients
Salary: £35,000
£45,000 + overtime paid at enhanced rates Contract: Full-time, permanent Benefits: Ongoing training & development Clear career progression routes Workshop-based roles Early finish Fridays with selected clients Key Responsibilities Carry out high-quality welding and fabrication across a range of materials Safely operate hand and power tools for fabrication tasks Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Fabricate and assemble components to ensure precision and accuracy Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all health & safety guidelines Ideal Candidate Proven experience in welding and fabrication and/or mechanical fitting Confident using hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Reliable, motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work
