Wheeled loading shovel operator (Littlehampton)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Operative for work at a quarry site in Littlehampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials to support ongoing production and site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the loading shovel to load, move and distribute materials into HGVs and hoppers.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Work closely with site supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Adhere to all site health, safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous plant/quarry experience is essential.
• Valid Loading Shovel competency card/ticket.
• MP Connect Card preferred (this can be arranged for the successful candidate if required).
• Full PPE is required, including hard hat, high-visibility clothing, safety boots, gloves and safety glasses.
