We're recruiting for an experienced
Wood Machinist
to join a leading bespoke joinery manufacturer producing high-quality joinery, furniture and interior fit-out packages for commercial, hospitality, retail and workplace environments. Working within a well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for machining high-quality components to precise specifications while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship and accuracy.
The Role Set up and operate a range of woodworking machinery Machine solid timber, MDF, plywood, laminates and veneered boards. Read and work from technical drawings and cutting lists. Produce high-quality components for bespoke joinery and furniture manufacture. Carry out quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards.
Requirements Previous experience as a Wood Machinist within a joinery or cabinet manufacturing environment. Confident operating a variety of woodworking machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong understanding of timber, sheet materials and machining techniques. High attention to detail with pride in producing quality workmanship. Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a skilled workshop team.
