Workshop Controller - Knutsford - £30,000–£35,000 Basic Location: Knutsford Salary: £30,000–£35,000 Basic + £10,000–£14,000 Bonus OTE: £40,000–£49,000 Hours: 45 hours per week Saturday: 1 in 3, 8:00am–1:00pm We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy and established automotive dealership in Knutsford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Controller or a strong Senior Technician looking to take the next step into a supervisory role. The workshop is a large and busy operation, currently consisting of 21 Technicians and 4 Apprentices, supported by an existing Workshop Controller. The successful candidate will work as part of the management structure, helping to coordinate workshop activity, maintain productivity and ensure high standards of customer service and technical quality. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the daily workflow of the workshop Allocate jobs to Technicians based on workload, skill level and availability Monitor productivity, efficiency and workshop performance Support Technicians with technical and operational queries Ensure vehicles are completed to the required standard and within agreed timescales Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider aftersales team Help maintain high standards of health & safety and workshop housekeeping Support the development and performance of Technicians and Apprentices Assist with maintaining excellent customer service and workshop quality standardsThe Ideal Candidate Previous Workshop Controller, Senior Technician or Workshop Supervisor experience Strong technical understanding of vehicle servicing and repair Excellent organisational and communication skills Able to manage a busy workshop environment Confident working with Technicians, Service Advisors and management Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities Main dealership experience would be advantageousPackage £35000 –£38,000 basic salary, depending on experience £10,000–£14,000 bonus potential £45,000 -50k OTE 45-hour working week 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:00am–1:00pm Opportunity to join a large, established workshop team Excellent opportunity for career progression Workshop Controller - Knutsford - £30,000–£35,000 Basic
