Yard Operative (Temp to Perm) 📍 Cheltenham 💷 Pay: £13.00 per hour 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 📄 Contract: Temp to Perm Pertemps are recruiting for a Yard Operative on behalf of a well established and growing client based in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for full time work with the potential to secure a permanent position. This role is hands on and physically active, involving manual handling, yard duties, equipment cleaning, and preparing materials to support maintenance operations. Due to the nature of the role and site requirements, a valid UK driving licence is essential. Key Responsibilities Picking materials and equipment for maintenance activities Cleaning equipment and products to the required company standards Carrying out regular manual handling and lifting duties Inspecting items and equipment to ensure they meet quality and safety standards Organising materials and maintaining stock levels within the yard Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials when required Operating company vehicles on site and between locations when required Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment Carrying out general yard duties to support the day to day operationThe Ideal Candidate Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Comfortable carrying out physical work and manual handling tasks Good attention to detail when inspecting and preparing equipment Able to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience within a yard, warehouse, manufacturing, or maintenance environment would be advantageous Positive attitude and willingness to learnWhat's on Offer Weekly pay during the temporary period Full time Monday to Friday working hours Friendly and supportive working environment Opportunity to secure a permanent position Long term career prospects with a growing companyApply Today Pertemps Gloucester Unit 4A, Elmbridge Court Cheltenham Road East Gloucester, GL3 1JZ 🕒 Open Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 📞 (phone number removed)
