Yard Operative – Counterbalance Forklift Driver Location: Leeds Start Date: Monday 24th August Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing Pay: Competitive, depending on experience We are currently looking for an experienced Yard Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join our team in Leeds, starting Monday 24th August. This is a hands-on role working within a busy yard environment, so we're looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions. Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading materials safely using a counterbalance forklift General yard duties and keeping the yard clean and organised Moving and storing materials safely Loading vehicles and preparing materials for delivery Manual handling and general labouring duties Following all site health & safety procedures Supporting the wider yard and site team as required Requirements Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse or construction environment Good level of physical fitness Reliable and punctual Able to work well as part of a team Scaffolding labouring experience would be highly advantageous Construction/site experience is preferred What We Offer Immediate start available – Monday 24th August Ongoing work for the right candidate Competitive rate of pay Opportunity to work within a busy construction/scaffolding environment If you have a Counterbalance Forklift Licence and are looking for work in Leeds, we'd like to hear from you.
