Yard Operative

Belmont Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to work with our client based in the Hinckley area on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 45 hours per week (07:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday). The Role The successful candidate will initially work on a temporary assignment until January 2027, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position. The role involves carrying out re-handling duties within a commercial waste depot using 360 excavators fitted with petal grabs. Key Responsibilities * Carrying out re-handling duties within the waste depot * Operating tracked and wheeled 360 excavators * Using 360 excavators fitted with petal grabs * Supporting the safe and efficient movement and handling of waste materials Requirements * Previous experience operating 360 excavators * Relevant licences for both tracked and wheeled 360 excavators * Experience within a yard, waste, recycling or similar environment would be advantageous If you are interested in this position, please apply now with an up-to-date CV
