Year 3 Teacher / KS2 Teacher – Weston-super-mare Year 3 Teacher / KS2 Teacher – Weston-super-Mare Start: September Contract: Full-time (until end of academic year) Potential: Permanent from September 2027 Salary: M1–UPS (£32,916 – £51,048) TLR available from January for the right person We’re working with a lovely, two-form entry primary school in Weston-Super-Mare who are looking for an enthusiastic Lower KS2 Teacher to join them from September. This school is very popular in the community, boasting large, light and modernised classrooms. Excellent resources and technology and a supportive SLT. It’s well organised, calm, and supportive. No unnecessary pressure, no chaos — just a team that gets on with it, helps each other out, and takes pride in doing a good job. It’s a smaller school with a real “everyone knows everyone” feel, and it shows in both staff morale and the way the children learn. The role itself: This is a full class teaching role in Year 3. Planning is already in place for term 1 & 2, so your focus is on delivering lessons well, keeping standards high, and building strong relationships with the class. You’ll still be involved in marking and adapting resources, but you won’t be taking work home every night to plan from scratch.
