Part Time | 22.5 hours | £16,110 (£13.77 per hour) | Radlett
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our Young People's Services team, supporting young people, including separated migrant children, to build confidence, develop life skills and achieve greater independence.

The ability to empower young people to achieve their goals and develop independent living skills
A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, professionals and partner agencies
Strong communication, record-keeping and organisational skills
Confidence working independently while maintaining professional boundaries
A commitment to inclusion, continuous learning and delivering high-quality support
About You
You are caring, adaptable and committed to helping young people thrive. You communicate well, value inclusion and teamwork, and can manage boundaries and workload independently. A passion for learning and development is essential.
Essential Criteria:
Full UK driving licence with business insurance and access to a vehicle for business use
Ability to work day and evening shifts (7am-3pm & 2pm-10pm) shifts, including weekends and bank holidays

Level 4 or equivalent Children, Young People & Families Practitioner Workforce Diploma
within one year of joining You must sign up to the
DBS Update Service Hightown Benefits £16,110 (£13.77 per hour) 33-35 days annual leave
(pro rata) Blue Light Card - access to thousands of retailer discounts Mileage paid for car usage Ongoing training and development opportunities Pension & life assurance (3? salary) Long Service Awards Monthly Attendance Bonus Annual salary and cost-of-living review Employee assistance helpline This role involves working with young people, including those aged 16 and 17. The successful candidate must always maintain appropriate professional boundaries and understand their responsibilities in relation to positions of trust. All appointments are subject to satisfactory right to work, enhanced DBS, reference and medical clearances. Successful candidates will be required to join the DBS Update Service, with the subscription cost reimbursed by Hightown.
