Logistics Operator | Chemical Trading Pay: £35,000.00 - £55,000.00 per year Logistics Officer Job Description: Logistics Operator Loughton, Essex £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience Hybrid working after probation, 3 days in office, 2 from home We are supporting a well established chemical distribution business in Loughton as they look to hire a Logistics Operator to join their operations team. *** Please note, previous exposure to ISO tank operations / coordination is essential for this role. Candidates without ISO tank experience are unlikely to be considered. *** This is a hands on role involving the coordination of orders, shipments and day to day logistics activity, working closely with suppliers, customers, freight providers and internal teams. Logistics Operator Key responsibilities: Coordinate orders and shipments from booking through to delivery Manage road, sea and air freight movements Liaise with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and transport providers Coordinate ISO tank movements and related logistics activity Manage shipment updates, delivery schedules and import / export documentation Support day to day logistics and operational problem solving Ensure accurate use of internal systems and records Background sought: Previous experience in logistics, shipping, trade operations or supply chain Exposure to ISO tanks is essential Experience working with chemicals, petrochemicals, fuels, oil & gas, bulk liquids or similar sectors is strongly preferred Understanding of multimodal freight including road, sea and air shipments Strong organisational and communication skills Comfortable working in a fast paced environment If you would like to hear more for the Logistics Operator role, please apply.
