Main duties of the job
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Autonomous Clinical Practice: Making independent decisions in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients across full episodes of care. Minor illness & long-term conditions.
- Clinical Governance & Leadership: Accountable alongside the Lead Nurse for driving clinical governance, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.
- Team Mentorship: Inspiring high standards of care, supporting skill-sharing across traditional professional boundaries, and mentoring team members.

Job responsibilities
As a clinical leader within our multidisciplinary team (working alongside GPs, Practice Nurses, Care Coordinators and Pharmacists), you will help transform and modernise care pathways.
Located in the heart of East Cornwall, Liskeard offers the perfect blend of rural charm, rich heritage, and modern connectivity where you can:

Qualifications
Essential
- Registration: Current NMC, HCPC, or GPhC registration.
- Qualifications: All applicants must have a full MSc in Advanced Practice (or equivalent Level 7 qualification)
- Qualification as Independent Prescriber (V300)
Experience
Essential
- Primary Care Experience: Proven experience in NHS primary care managing full episodes of care and minor illness.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Essential
- Sound clinical reasoning under pressure
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a friendly, patient-centred approach.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and drive continuous clinical improvement within a multidisciplinary team
