Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing

• Transport patients safely using wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds.
• Provide a professional and compassionate service.
• Communicate with patients respectfully and sensitively.
• Move equipment and supplies safely in line with procedures.
• Deliver pharmacy items, specimens, and essential supplies.
• Support clinical teams across hospital departments.
• Carry out mortuary duties in accordance with Trust policies.
• Maintain high standards of safety, confidentiality, and infection control.
• Complete records and follow procedures accurately.
• Work flexibly across hospital sites and departments.
• Support supervisors in delivering an effective service.
• Follow Trust policies, including health and safety requirements.
