Shifts: 8am – 3pm, 3pm – 10pm a combination of the two.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our team in Belong Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
About the Role:
As a care assistant, you will work together with other staff in the running of the household. You will aim to maintain high standards of care and service towards customers, relatives, visitors and other members of staff. You will be providing a range of personal and practical care to our residents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
- Be alert to residents’ needs, health and wellbeing
- Respect the residents’ dignity and privacy
- Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
- Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
- Maintain accurate records for each resident
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Committed to providing person-centred care to older adults, promoting dignity and respect.
- Previous experience providing personal care to older adults in residential settings.
- Experience maintaining accurate care records and reporting wellbeing concerns.
- Able to support mobility, mealtimes and daily living activities safely.
- Available to work a combination of 8am–3pm and 3pm–10pm shifts.
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
