We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a client based in Kingston Upon Thames, London.
About the Role
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £15.66 per hour days and £16.91 per hour for waking nights.
We have one position available
Average hours 24.5 per week including split shifts
Week 1:
- Monday 8:00am-10:00am, 16:00 – 21:30
- Tuesday 8:00am-10:00am
- Saturday 8:00am-10:00am, 16:00-21:30
- Sunday 8:00am-10:00am, 16:00-21:30
Week 2:
- Monday 8:00am-10:00am
- Tuesday 8:00am-10:00am, 16:00-21:30
- Thursday 8:00am-10:00am, 16:00-21:30
- Friday 8:00am- 10:00am, 16:00 – 21:30
Main duties of the job
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
- Preparing meals and assistance to eat if needed
- Support with all personal care
- Support with catheter care
- Maintaining the home such as cleaning, keeping tidy etc.
- Supporting to research activities of choice, book and attend
- Supporting to meet up with friends
- Support with shopping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients to attend appointments
- Administering medication when required
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
- A caring and empathetic nature
- Good communication skills
- A genuine desire to support others
- Basic IT and record-keeping skills
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided

- A full UK driving licence is advantageous
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
