Children’s Support Worker – ClevedonPositions: Full TimePay: £13.20 – £13.47 per hourContract: PermanentBase Location: Clevedon(The service currently operates as an outreach model, so this role involves travelling around the local area.)Drivers are preferable, it does need to be a full UK Manual licence due to the car that is being used. About the RoleWe’re looking for caring, committed Children’s Support Workers to join our Clevedon team, supporting children and young people aged 5–18.The purpose of this role is to provide high‑quality, child‑centred day‑to‑day support that respects each child’s views, wishes, and individuality. You’ll create safe, supportive environments where children feel listened to, valued, and supported to develop independence, confidence, and life skills.Support is delivered in the community and home settings and includes helping children access education, build daily living skills, and take part in meaningful activities. These may include trips out in the community, social and recreational activities, as well as in‑house activities such as sensory play, arts and crafts.Some children access 24‑hour overnight support, so the role may include supporting with personal care, medication, and wellbeing needs.
