The Role: As a Client Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely accounting services across a varied portfolio. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and finalising client and statutory accounts Liaising with auditors, stakeholders and external contacts Managing financial reporting, VAT reporting and budgeting processes Resolving accounting-related queries from internal and external stakeholders Supporting workflow management and ensuring KPI compliance Assisting with process improvements and maintaining system accuracy Supporting ad hoc finance projects and account transitions What They're Looking For: We're keen to speak with candidates who have: A minimum of 2 years' experience within an accounting or finance environment Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience within client accounting or a multi-client finance environment Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive and analytical approach to problem solving The ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively Candidates who are part-qualified or fully qualified in AAT, ACCA, CIMA or ACA will be highly advantageous.
