Support Workers Needed in Harrogate, Thirsk, Catterick & ScarboroughFlexible Short Shifts To Suit Your LifestyleJob Title: Support WorkerLocation: Harrogate, Thirsk, Catterick & ScarboroughWork Pattern: Shifts vary between 5 hours per day to 9 hours per day and every other weekend.Employment Type: Part time and full time available.About this role: Supporting non verbal children and managing challenging behaviours.Contract for Services. We are not currently accepting applications from individuals looking for sponsorship.Salary £13ph weekdays, £14ph weekends plus 12.07% holiday pay. We pay our team weekly!Key Responsibilities:Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the person 's care plan.Supporting Learning Disabilities and associated behaviours.Supporting tracheostomy and ventilator management with full training providedBuild trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans.Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.About You:A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essentialPrevious experience supporting those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH is beneficialPEG Care experience is beneficialRelevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.What We Offer:Comprehensive training and development program, including a full day introductory onsite training for complex care as part of your induction.Opportunities for further training and development within a growing organisation.Employee discount opportunities such as a Blue light card and Carers DiscountHarrogate, Thirsk, Catterick & ScarboroughSplit shifts are available.
