Arden White is partnering with an established aviation organisation to recruit an experienced Compliance Monitoring Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected business operating across multiple aviation platforms, where compliance, safety and continuous improvement are central to the organisation.
This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while leading the compliance monitoring function across regulated aviation operations.
The Role
Reporting directly into senior management, you will take ownership of the Compliance Monitoring System, ensuring continued compliance with UK aviation regulations, industry standards and internal quality requirements.
You’ll play a key role in supporting regulatory approvals, managing audit programmes, driving continuous improvement initiatives and acting as the primary compliance contact with regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the organisation’s Compliance Monitoring System.
- Plan, conduct and oversee internal and external compliance audits.
- Support continued compliance with UK CAA Part 145, Part CAMO and associated regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance records, authorisations and regulatory documentation.
- Review changes to aviation legislation and implement necessary updates.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure regulatory compliance across engineering activities.
- Produce compliance reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Support external regulatory audits and customer audits.
- Drive continuous improvement across compliance and quality processes.
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the business.
What We’re Looking For
We are keen to speak with professionals who have experience within aviation maintenance and continuing airworthiness environments, including:
- Part 145 Compliance
- Part CAMO Compliance
- ISO 9001 quality systems
- Internal and external auditing
- Root Cause Analysis
- Aviation Safety Management Systems
- Regulatory compliance
- Quality management
Essential Experience
- Previous experience within a Part 145 Compliance department.
- Previous experience within a Part CAMO Compliance environment.
- Strong understanding of UK CAA regulations.
- Experience planning and delivering audit programmes.
- Knowledge of continuing airworthiness regulations.
- Experience working within engineering or aircraft maintenance environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading compliance activities and influencing continuous improvement.
Desirable
- IRCA or recognised auditing qualification.
- Experience using Centrik.
- Knowledge of military aviation regulations would be advantageous.
- Maintenance Error Investigation training.
- MRP Part 145 knowledge.
