In addition to fulfilling an effective leadership role, the successful candidate will have the following specific responsibilities, amongst others:

• Lead on the quality of education so as to ensure positive pupil outcomes
• Be responsible for all lead practitioners and oversee their work in maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and achievement in core subject areas.
• Co-ordinate the coaching of teaching staff so as to improve the quality of education in school
• Ensure high quality implementation of excellent teaching
• Lead and co-ordinate staff induction, training and development
• Lead on Inclusion including Champion of Disadvantaged
• Oversee Personal Development

The successful candidate will also:

• Be an outstanding teacher with a track record of achieving excellent examination results for children
• Be able to lead with vision and think strategically
• Demonstrate strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills
