This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking alternative provision that supports young people through a personalised and creative approach to education. Working with secondary-aged learners, you’ll play a vital role in helping students re-engage with learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes. The provision incorporates vocational pathways and enrichment opportunities, including a football-focused programme designed to promote engagement, personal development and life skills. The Role As an English Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and accessible English lessons to secondary-aged students. Adapt learning to meet a range of individual needs and abilities. Support learners who may have experienced challenges within mainstream education. Foster positive relationships and create a safe, supportive learning environment. Monitor progress and contribute to individual learning plans. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure students achieve their full potential. We’re Looking For Someone Who: Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification. Has experience teaching English at secondary level. Is passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning. Can build positive and professional relationships with students. Demonstrates resilience, flexibility and a solution-focused approach. Has experience within alternative provision, SEMH or specialist settings (desirable but not essential). What’s on Offer?
