This role is being advertised by Arden White. We are a specialist engineering recruitment agency supporting engineering, manufacturing, motorsport and advanced technology businesses across the UK and internationally.

We are currently supporting a leading high-performance engineering organisation based in Woking with the recruitment of several Composite Laminators on contract working shifts of 5 4 4 5.

Role Overview

As a Composite Laminator, you will be responsible for the manufacture of high-quality composite components within a fast-paced engineering environment. Working from engineering drawings, ply books and work instructions, you will carry out composite activities to exacting standards, ensuring quality and accuracy at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out composite activities in accordance with engineering drawings, ply books and work instructions.

Prepare tooling and materials for lamination activities.

Accurately cut, kitting and apply pre-preg composite materials.

Ensure all laminating work is completed to the required quality standards and specifications.

Conduct self-inspection of completed work and identify any defects or non-conformances.

Support bagging, vacuum preparation and component preparation activities where required.

Work closely with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams to resolve production issues.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the work area.

Adhere to all health, safety and quality procedures.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across composite manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience as a Composite Laminator within F1 or motorsport

Strong understanding of composite techniques and pre-preg materials.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, ply books and work instructions.

Experience working to tight tolerances and strict quality standards.

Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.

Strong team-working and communication skills.

Flexible approach to workload and operational requirements.
