Family Support Worker

Salary: £15,207 - £17,913

Grade: 5, SCP 13 - 23

  • Work Pattern: term time + 5 inset days - (39 weeks per annum)
  • Hours: 21 hours per week - 3 days per week
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Start Date: As soon as possible

This is an exciting opportunity to work at The Godolphin Junior Academy, a warm and vibrant multi-cultural junior school based in Slough. Our well behaved children are eager and keen to learn and grow.

The academy is part of The Park Federation Academy Trust, allowing us to benefit from a wealth of expertise across our academies, as well as enabling us to provide opportunities for sharing of good practice and high quality training. Candidates with experience and knowledge of safeguarding support and Early Help for families.

  • Has experience of supporting young people
  • Will be proactive, positive, calm and flexible
  • Has high expectations of yourself and the children you work with
  • Has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • are self-motivated and able to work from their own initiative
  • Will be committed to working as part of a team.
