🫶 About the role and the client:
We're looking for a female Live-In PA / Carer to support a young woman in her mid-20s living with her fiancé in a beautiful apartment in Battersea, London (SW11).
We are recruiting female applicants only for this role due to the nature of the client’s intimate personal care requirements. This is considered an occupational requirement and is assessed in line with the Equality Act 2010.
This isn't your typical care role.
Our client is young, sociable and enjoys social media, beauty, make-up, fitness, travelling and getting out and about. She's looking for someone who can provide safe, professional care while also being able to connect with her interests, support her lifestyle and help her feel confident and independent.
She has a high spinal cord injury, approximately C3–T6, following a spinal stroke. She is tetraplegic and has some partial movement, including movement in her left big toe and some right-hand movement.
If you're someone who loves social media, beauty, getting ready, going to the gym, travelling, trying new things and being out and about, you may really enjoy this role.
You don't need to be an expert in all of these areas. What's important is that you're genuinely interested in these things and can build a positive, respectful relationship with the client.
