The Company
BM Bi-Folding Doors is a specialist manufacturer and installer of bespoke aluminium bi-folding doors, sliding doors, internal doors, windows and glazing systems.
The wider Group includes BM Bi-Folding Doors, Alu Elite, BM Elite, Fast Doors, BM Hardware and BM Trade Hub, alongside sister companies Luxury Garden Rooms and Fleur & Mae.
The Group Marketing Manager is a new role, created to bring greater structure, consistency and momentum to marketing activity across the businesses.
The Role
You’ll become the central point for marketing across the Group, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
This is a hands-on marketing role for someone who enjoys making things happen. You won’t be joining a large marketing department or simply managing agencies — you’ll be responsible for turning ideas and commercial priorities into organised plans, campaigns, content, website activity, sales collateral and lead generation.
Typical activity includes writing website content, liaising with designers, planning and executing email campaigns, coordinating website updates, creating sales collateral and working with external specialists on lead-generation campaigns.
Internal and external design, development and specialist marketing resources are available — your job is to join the dots and get things delivered. Most of the role will initially focus on the core BM brands, with lighter ad-hoc support for sister companies where required.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing planning & coordination
Become the central point of coordination for Group marketing activity
Develop and maintain marketing plans and calendars across the core brands
Translate commercial priorities from the Managing Director into practical marketing activity
Prioritise campaigns, projects and resources alongside management
Coordinate internal teams, designers, developers, agencies and specialist subcontractors
Keep projects moving from idea to delivery, with clear visibility of what’s planned, in progress and complete
Content & campaigns
Personally create high-quality marketing content
Develop campaign concepts and turn them into practical plans
Maintain content calendars
Use AI and modern marketing tools to improve quality, speed and output
Brief designers and creative resources
You’ll write and edit website content, landing pages, email campaigns, social media content, blogs and guides, brochures, presentations and sales collateral.
Website & digital marketing
Take ownership of website content across core Group brands
Make routine CMS updates and work with developers on larger improvements
Coordinate SEO activity
Support website UX and conversion improvements
Work with external specialists on PPC, paid social and digital acquisition
Review performance and identify where investment could improve results
Lead generation & sales support
Work closely with Sales and management
Support campaigns targeting homeowners and trade customers
Support trade marketing development
Develop sales-support materials
Support proposition, USP and competitor positioning
Make sure marketing activity supports wider commercial objectives
Email, CRM & customer marketing
Plan and deliver email marketing activity
Develop nurture and remarketing campaigns
Improve communication throughout the customer journey
Support customer feedback and exit-survey activity, using insight to inform future marketing
Social media & brand
Coordinate social media activity, personally managing content where appropriate
Work with external support where required
Maintain consistency of tone, messaging and visual identity — while each brand keeps an appropriate identity of its own
Coordinate creative briefs and improve overall Group presentation
Agencies & external resource
Work collaboratively with designers, developers, agencies and specialists — treating them as an extension of the internal marketing function
Create clear briefs, coordinate deadlines, and manage feedback and delivery
Identify where additional specialist resource may be required
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous hands-on marketing experience
Broad understanding of digital marketing and lead generation
Strong copywriting and content creation skills
Experience planning and delivering campaigns
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with designers, developers or external specialists
Strong organisational and project management skills
Commercial awareness

Multi-brand experience
