KS2 Teaching Assistant / INA Brighton | Primary School | Full-Time | £90–£105 per day Experienced Teaching Assistant/INA wanted for KS2 We’re working with a primary school in Brighton that is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant / Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to join their KS2 team. This is a role for someone who already understands the demands of working in a primary classroom and can provide consistent, reliable support to pupils who need additional help with their learning, development and day-to-day school life. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, providing support both within the classroom and on a 1:1 or small-group basis where required. The role Supporting pupils across KS2 with their learning and development Providing 1:1 and small-group support where needed Supporting pupils with additional needs and/or SEND Helping pupils access lessons and remain engaged with learning Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils Working closely with teachers and other support staff Adapting your approach to meet individual pupil needs Essential requirements Please only apply if you meet the following requirements: Previous UK classroom experience Previous experience working with children in a TA, INA, SEN or similar role Experience supporting children with additional needs/SEND A reliable and consistent approach to work An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one Right to work in the UK Strong communication and teamwork skills We are particularly interested in candidates who are dependable, proactive and confident working independently, while also being comfortable as part of a wider school team.
