This is a 6month Specialist Trainee (ST LAS) post in General Adult Psychiatry (ST4-6) from 6th Aug'26 - 2nd Feb'27, based at:
o Enfield Complex Emotional Needs Service - Team base Chase Farm Hospital, 127 The Ridgeway, Enfield EN2 8JL
o Complex Depression and Anxiety Team (CDAT) / South Camden Core Team - team base South Core Team Margarete Centre, 108 Hampstead Rd, London NW1 2LS

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential
- MBBS or equivalent primary medical qualification AND MRCPsych examination; OR a specialist qualification in psychiatry from an EU country that complies with the requirements of EU directive 2005/36/EC
Eligibility
Essential
- Eligibility for full registration with the GMC and a current license to practice at the time of appointment.
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Clinical Skills
Essential
- Appropriate knowledge base and capacity to apply sound clinical judgement.
- Capacity to prioritize clinical need.
- Ability in basic skills of history taking examination (mental & physical) & synthesis of findings.
- Basic psychotherapeutic skills
Academic / Research Skills
Essential
- Understanding of the principles of audit, research & clinical risk management
- Evidence of active participation in audit

- Interest and realistic insight into psychiatry and mental health
