Pink Tile Education is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Bromley, supporting vulnerable students with their learning, behaviour and emotional development. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to education. About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide support to students with a range of additional needs, including SEND, SEMH and autism. You will work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to engage with learning and develop their confidence and independence. The role may involve supporting students who display challenging behaviour, so the ability to remain calm, consistent and positive is essential. Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small-group support. Supporting students with SEND, SEMH and autism. Helping students engage with their learning. Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour. Managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently. Building positive relationships with vulnerable students. Encouraging students to develop confidence and independence. Supporting teachers and the wider school team. Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. About You We are looking for candidates who are: Patient, calm and resilient. Passionate about working with children and young people. Confident supporting challenging behaviour. Interested in developing a career in education or SEND. Able to build positive relationships with students. Consistent and confident in maintaining boundaries. A strong communicator and team player. Enthusiastic, reliable and committed. Previous experience working with SEND, SEMH, autism, challenging behaviour, schools, care, youth work or vulnerable children is desirable but not essential.
