Learning Support Assistant

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Type: 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, fixed term to 31 August 2027
  • Salary: NJC Scale 2 SP3-4 (FTE £25,614 - £26,016 / Actual £21,417 - £21,753 per annum)

Heartsease Primary Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional SEND needs. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience of, or a passion for, working with younger children. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the SENDCo to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, build independence and thrive both academically and socially.

A patient, nurturing approach and a commitment to inclusive practice are essential. Join our friendly and supportive team and help make a real difference to the lives of children within our vibrant school community.
