Major Events Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development and delivery of West Northamptonshire’s major events programme, helping to create a vibrant, accessible and financially sustainable events offer for residents and visitors alike.Working to an Attract, Support, Grow approach, you will play a key role in positioning West Northamptonshire as a destination for major sporting, cultural and heritage events. You will identify and attract new events to the area, support the continued success of existing events, and create opportunities to develop and grow the Council's event portfolio to maximise social, cultural and economic benefits.You will take the lead on procuring and awarding contracts for major event promoters and associated organisations, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality events across the area. Through strong partnership working and strategic planning, you will drive the sustainable growth of West Northamptonshire's events programme while identifying innovative opportunities that enhance the area's reputation and appeal.
