Nursey Teacher – Job Share

About the role

The successful candidate will be based within our Nursery class, working collaboratively with their job-share partner and the wider EYFS team to provide high-quality, engaging and inclusive early education.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and effective classroom practitioner who has high expectations for every child, a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the ability to create a stimulating environment in which children are encouraged to explore, develop their independence and enjoy learning.

have strong planning, assessment and classroom organisation skills;

be keen to contribute positively to the wider life of Alkrington Primary School.

Experience of working within Nursery or EYFS would be desirable, although we welcome applications from excellent teachers who can demonstrate the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm needed to work successfully within Early Years.

Qualifications and communication

Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or otherwise be legally eligible to undertake the role of a qualified teacher in a maintained school.

The ability to converse at ease with children, parents, colleagues and other service users and provide advice and information in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.
