Job summary
The psychology provision sits in the Chief Medical Officer portfolio and provides professional and clinical oversight for psychological services and professionals across the Trust. Working closely with CPPO, psychological leadership across each Division and the central psychology team, the postholder will be required to help design, lead and oversee the delivery of key aims and objectives of the Trust wide psychological provisions in line with the Trusts quadruple aims and broader strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effective and efficient operational support within the CMO Psychology profile. The development of required management systems to support development and oversight of key Trust wide delivery plans. Provide support for wider psychological professional workforce as needed by the CPPO.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for effective and efficient operational support within the CMO Psychology profile.In conjunction with team develop strategic plans and documents to support delivery of key workstreams.Develop required management systems to support development and oversight of key Trust wide delivery plans.Delivery of timely, multiple projects from formulation of plans through to implementation and monitoring. Modifying, formulating and changing plans.Provide support for wider psychological professional workforce as needed by CPPO.Engagement with key stakeholders in development of service redesign and business development activities.Support CMO psychology team in development and implementation of effective and, where appropriate, integrated governance and reporting, to reflect agreed models of care.Co-ordinate and draft papers to go to relevant Trust and external meetings as required by the CPPO.Contribute to the development of the CMO psychology plans through the setting and monitoring of targets and objectives; ensuring alignment to Trust strategic plans, reporting of targets achieved.About us

Qualifications
Essential
- Specialist Masters degree level in relevant speciality or equivalent qualification, experience and knowledge.
- Knowledge of a range of specific project/programme areas, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training.
- Project/Programme management training / qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience

- Experience of leading in a similarly complex environment, across organisational boundaries.
- Experience of delivering programmes to scope, budget and time.
- Experience of working with teams to achieve objectives and performance targets.
- Experience of devising and implementing projects.
- Experience of working in mental health settings.
- Experience of delivering complex services or work programmes at scale and pace, with innovative design approaches proven through outcome delivery.
- Ability to manage a large workload and effectively prioritise across competing agendas and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills in a highly complex environment.
- Research skills, including accessing and using benchmarking data.
- Able to analyse complex information from multiple sources and present this in a variety of mediums to different audiences to inform policy and practice.
