We're a growing, ambitious group investing in how we operate, and this role is central to bringing that to life across our sites, with the support, tools and senior backing to make a real impact.The Operations Manager is responsible for executing the operational strategy across the QVO Hospitality group, ensuring every site delivers consistently excellent performance against brand standards, financial targets and compliance requirements.This is a hands-on, field-based, site-facing leadership role. The Operations Manager is the primary point of contact for General Managers on day-to-day operational matters, holding them accountable to their performance commitments while providing the coaching and support they need to improve. As with all support office roles, this role exists to support the teams in the sites in creating unforgettable experiences. ACCOUNTABILITIESLeadership & Creating Unforgettable ExperiencesTo provide visible, present and values-led leadership across all sites.To lead, develop and hold General Managers accountable.To act as a role model for QVO Hospitality's values of Care, Honesty & Integrity and Passion in every site interaction.Operational ExecutionTo execute the operational strategy set by the Head of Operations consistently across all sites.To ensure all sites follow Company playbooks, conducting regular reviews to ensure accuracy and commitment from General Managers.To carry out regular structured site visits, feeding back findings to GMs and the Head of Operations.To identify operational gaps across the group and work with GMs to address them promptly.To lead and facilitate the weekly Monday GM Meeting, ensuring it is focused, productive and action-oriented.General Manager Management & DevelopmentTo be the primary point of contact for General Managers on day-to-day operational matters.To carry out 1-2-1s with each GM, providing clear feedback on performance and personal development.To carry out monthly period reviews at site level with each GM, reviewing financial and operational performance.To support the delivery of GM training, contributing operational content where relevant.Over time, to facilitate Quarterly Site Planning Mornings, supporting GMs in setting and delivering site-level priorities.To support GMs in identifying and developing talent within their teams, contributing to the company pipeline.Budget & Financial PerformanceTo execute site budgets across all sites, ensuring GMs understand and are held to their financial targets.To manage gross profit, wages, admin costs and overall site profitability, taking action where performance falls short.To work with the Head of Operations and finance team to flag financial risks and opportunities.Site Compliance & MaintenanceTo oversee repairs, maintenance and site compliance across all sites, ensuring nothing is left unresolved.To collaborate with the Group Head Chef to meet required health, safety and food hygiene standards at all times.To maintain an accurate and up-to-date picture of maintenance requirements across the sites.To work with GMs to ensure Trail checklists and compliance processes are completed consistently and accurately. WHAT WE OFFERInclusion in our quarterly Support Office profit-share bonus schemeRelocation package to North West Mileage allowancePrivate health insuranceAccess to a business coach for one-to-one leadership supportPaid professional developmentLaptop allowanceEnhanced family leave packageLoyalty bonus after 2 yearsQuarterly VIP card worth £240Gym membership reimbursementFree staff food35% staff discount for you + a guestCycle to work schemeRefer a friend bonus schemeEmployee assistance programme with Hospitality ActionChristmas & summer parties EQUAL OPPORTUNITIESQVO Hospitality is an equal opportunities employer.
