Person specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to diploma level or equivalent qualification / experience / knowledge
  • NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service / Management of Administration or equivalent knowledge base

Desirable

  • ECDL or equivalent qualification
Experience

Essential

  • Experience in customer service and administration duties
  • Experience in the use of IT / computer skills

Desirable

  • Experience of working in the NHS and / or dealing with customers /range of different people
Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge of outpatient and waiting list targets, systems and procedures
  • Understanding of budgets

Desirable

  • Experience of workforce processes including recruitment, appraisal, disciplinary procedures and managing attendance
  • Experience of working with patient tracking lists
