Area
We are currently looking for an excellent Pastoral Manager to join our team to support the social, emotional, behavioural, and educational development of students.
Duties to include: -
- Providing pastoral support, monitoring vulnerable students and promoting wellbeing.
- Supporting behaviour policy implementation through exemplary modelling of relational approaches.
- Working with families to reduce absenteeism, including completing home visits when appropriate.
- Serve as the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), leading all aspects of safeguarding and child protection and ensuring the highest standards of pupil welfare and safety.
- Building strong home-school relationships and liaising with external agencies, representing the school through attending meetings as required. Leading the school’s offer of Family Help using local authority processes and procedures.
- Removing barriers to learning and supporting all pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Maintaining records and analysing attendance, behaviour and pastoral data.
- Line managing support staff as appropriate.
