We have a total of 420hours a year plus 7 nights available. It would work best for me if this was during school holidays to enable some quality time with my younger son as well. The employer is a very friendly and loving young man. Loves anything to do with emergency services, animals and his baby dolls. He has an unbalanced chromosome disorder that causes learning disability and developmental delay.   Main Duties  This would be someone to take him out or have him in their home to give him new experiences and opportunities.The ideal candidate would be someone with experience working with or having raised their own SEN child.He will require assistance with some personal care (as required, with dignity and respect). He cannot be left in a property alone and cannot be left alone at all if out and about. This role could be for just one person OR can be split between a few people so if you feel you couldn’t do nights or just a few hours etc please do still contact and discuss it. Supporting with the employer’s attendance of occasional, local outpatient appointments. 3.Reference number: BS07/26; Location: Northampton, NN4; Hourly rate: £12.71/hUp to 8 hours per week.The employer uses a wheelchair, and PA is required to get it into and out of their car.  She self-propelled, so does not require assistance with this unless a steep incline.  Main Duties  A female worker is preferred and has knowledge of mental and it’s essential they are a driver.They would be required to help her prepare and make meals.  Assistance in keeping her room and bathroom clean and tidy.Support and take her to appointmentsTake her out and help her in new environments, helping cope with social anxiety.Providing calm reassurance and positive encouragementLearn her coping mechanisms and what her triggers are.Dog friendly as our dog is a big part of the family and comfort to her.A good sense of humour is a must.4.Reference number: SFO09/26/SH;  Location: Northampton, NN1; Hourly rate: £12.71 p/h – 6 hours per week The employer is 34-year-old young man who requires support with accessing the gym, social groups, shopping, attending appointments and admin.Main Duties Support with managing their home environment - modelling how to do tasks around the home, prompting him to continue this, creating routinesEncouragement and prompting with self-care skills (e.g. dressing, hygiene)To link in with community brain injury team when needed Helping maintain structure, routines and transitionsProviding calm reassurance and positive encouragementPromoting independence while ensuring safetyWorking consistently with strategies already in placeSupporting Community access - with accessing the gym, social groups, shopping, attending appointments, volunteering and any admin required.To encourage healthy eating/ to check expiry dates on food / keeping their home clean and tidy.5.Reference number: CBO09/26/SH; Location: Northampton, NN6; Hourly rate: £12.71 per hour / 7 hours per day, 2 days per week, 9.00am to 4pmThe employer is 50-year-old lady who lives with MS, which has significantly affected her physical function and mobility, she is fully wheelchair dependent and requires hoisting for all transfers. Her physical constraints mean she cannot carry out personal care, transfers or domestic tasks independently. Main Duties The PA will provide support byDoing 2 calls per week, to include general care and support.Ensure that she has enough to drink throughout the day to prevent uti’s.To assist with her toileting needs.To assist with exercises that strengthen and support her mobility.To ensure that her dignity and privacy are maintained at all times.
