Job summary
We are looking for a fully qualified phlebotomist to join our friendly team. Working hours are FRIDAY 7.30am - 4pm (8 hours per week), including a 30 min unpaid break. To start as soon as possible.

Taking Blood
Updating patient records
Liaising with clinical and admin staff
Providing a courteous and professional service

- Carry out venepuncture safely
- Safe handling of samples
- Maintain adequate infection control
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ensure safeguarding policies adhered to
- Update records accurately and quickly
- Provide a courteous and professional service
- Other duties may apply dependent on experience or may be added to the role in the future.

Desirable
- Phlebotomy Experience.
- GP Practice Experience.
- Emis Web Experience.
Qualifications
Essential
- A recognised phlebotomy qualification and evidence of assurance of this.
- Commitment to any mandatory training highlighted by our practice.
Desirable
- Previous phlebotomy experience.
- Emis Web experience.
- Basic Life Support training within the last 3 years.
- Infection control training within the last 3 years.
