About the Role

This Practice Owner opportunity at Vets for Pets Northwich is designed for experienced vets, RVNs or practice managers who want to build and run their own practice. The model combines independence with support, giving you clinical and operational autonomy while you develop your own vision.

The financial backing means you can skip the usual start-up stage and focus on growth, development and building long-term value. The Northwich practice opened in 2018 and is based on a mezzanine inside a Pets at Home store on a retail park with free parking.

The site has a practical, well-defined layout, with three consult rooms, a separate theatre, a large prep area, separate cat and dog areas, and isolation. It also serves over 1,700 active clients and has a full- and part-time team in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and run a Vets for Pets practice with full clinical and operational autonomy.
• Shape the practice offering for the team and the local community.
• Develop and grow the business with support from the wider Vets for Pets network.
• Work with the existing team, which includes a vet, two nurses, three client care advisers, one veterinary care assistant and a practice manager.
• Build on the current client base and support the practice as it continues to grow.

Requirements

• Experience as a vet, RVN or practice manager.
• Interest in developing and running your own practice.
• Ambition to drive a successful business.
