Recovery Controller

Recovery controller role with Richford Motor Services in the Midlands. Working in a 24/7 control room, you will take breakdown and recovery calls from motoring clubs, insurers, police and the public, log jobs accurately, allocate drivers based on location and equipment, prioritise a live job queue with safety-critical work first, and keep customers updated with honest ETAs. Essential: clear telephone manner, ability to stay calm when busy, good geography, confidence with computer systems, willingness to complete police vetting, and availability for shift work including nights and weekends. Recovery, transport control, emergency services control room or logistics experience is helpful but not essential, and full training is provided. Days, nights and rotating shift patterns available.
