SEN Learning Support Assistant – Key Stage 2 SEN Learning Support Assistant📍 Brighton🕒 Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm💷 From £93 per day📅 Full-Time | Term Time Only A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brighton is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive team from September. This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a Key Stage 2 pupil with Autism and associated learning needs. The pupil is a bright and engaging child who benefits from structure, consistency, and positive relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping them access learning, develop confidence, and navigate the school day successfully. Staff work collaboratively and are committed to ensuring all children have the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key responsibilities: Providing tailored 1:1 support throughout the school day Supporting classroom engagement and participation Implementing strategies recommended by the SENDCo Encouraging social interaction and independence Monitoring and recording progress against targets Working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting A calm, patient, and nurturing approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confidence managing occasional dysregulation A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference within a supportive and child-centred school community
