Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon role based at Knox & Devlin Veterinary Centre in Whaley Bridge. The working pattern is 40 hours across 4 or 5 days, with a 1 in 5 Saturday morning shift and no OOH.

Requirements

• Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in surgery.
• Confident clinical skills and the ability to handle a varied caseload.
• Comfortable taking the lead on surgical and medical cases.
• Experience is expected, as the advert refers to an experienced vet.
• A team-focused approach and strong client care skills.

About the Practice

Knox & Devlin Veterinary Centre is an RCVS-accredited General Practice and part of CVS. The team includes 5 vets, 5 nurses, and a PCA, and one vet is currently undertaking a dermatology certificate.

The practice’s facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental radiography, diathermy equipment, and separate dog and cat wards. It also says it is continuing to expand its clinical capabilities as it grows.
