Social Media Marketing Executive (maternity cover)

Our client is looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive to join their established marketing team on a maternity cover contract, expected to last approximately 12–14 months. As Social Media Marketing Executive, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing a social media service designed to help customers improve their online presence. You’ll create on-brand social content, develop monthly communications, monitor campaign performance and keep ahead of changing social media and industry trends.  Social Media Marketing Executive (12-14 month FTC) - Benefits offered £30,000 per annum 12–14 month maternity cover contract Hybrid working after successful probation Excellent benefits Social Media Marketing Executive (12-14 month FTC) – Key Responsibilities Managing and developing social media services in line with customer needs and changing trends Creating regular, engaging and on-brand social media content Developing and owning the B2B communications plan Producing monthly customer communications including written copy, still imagery, video content and relevant hashtags Creating social media guides and supporting customers in improving their online presence Managing content across multiple social media platforms Supporting paid social media activity, particularly Facebook campaigns Working with external designers and agencies to produce still and video content Building relationships with external partners to source high-quality content and assets Monitoring social media, market and competitor trends Analysing performance including engagement, reach, cost per click and conversions Producing monthly performance reports and identifying opportunities for improvement Working closely with sales and product teams to gather feedback and develop future activity Delivering social media training and guidance to internal sales teams Supporting campaign shoots, industry events, trade shows and sponsorship activity Managing and monitoring the budget for social media activity Social Media Marketing Executive (12-14 month FTC) – Skills & Experience At least one year of dedicated social media experience within an executive-level role Confident working across multiple social media platforms Strong knowledge of social media scheduling tools Experience managing paid social activity, particularly Facebook Experience creating engaging written and visual social content Experience working with designers or agencies to produce still and video assets A good understanding of how sales and marketing work together Strong communication and relationship-building skills Full UK driving licence Marketing, Communications, PR or related qualification preferred Thank you for your application.
