Whether you're already working in care or looking for a complete career change, we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, develop new skills and help people live fulfilling, independent lives while being part of a supportive and experienced team.No experience is required, just the right values and a willingness to learn.About the ServiceYou'll be supporting eight individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well as additional health needs including epilepsy and congenital conditions.Every person we support is unique, and your role will be to help them live as independently as possible while achieving the things that are important to them.The service has a warm, welcoming community feel and strong family involvement. During the year, we enjoy a variety of activities, celebrations and events, helping the people we support remain connected to their local community and enjoy meaningful experiences.You will also have the opportunity to develop specialist skills, including supporting non-verbal communication through signing, visual aids and person-centred approaches.Shift PatternsThis is a 24-hour service, so flexibility is essential.You'll work a variety of shifts which may include:Early shiftsLate shiftsWaking nightsSleep-insWeekends and bank holidaysRotas are provided in advance wherever possible to help support a positive work-life balance.
