Your Next Chapter Starts Here: No Experience Needed

Ready for work that actually matters?

If you're honest, respectful, fun, compassionate and kind, we want to meet you. Your CV can wait.

At MacIntyre, we support adults with learning disabilities in Leicester to live full, meaningful lives. We hire for values, not experience, because the right attitude matters more than a job history. We provide full training, so you'll never be left to figure it out alone.

Full or part time hours available - 2 to 5+ days per week

Why become a Support Worker?

Our team members come from retail, hospitality, care, admin and customer service. They all share one thing: they wanted work that feels worthwhile and stays secure. While other industries shrink and change, social care keeps growing, which means:

  • Long-term job security
  • Clear routes to progress your career
  • Recognised qualifications and full training
  • Work you'll be proud of when you get home

What will you actually do?

No two days look the same. You'll help people live the life they choose, whether that's learning new skills, getting involved in their community, or enjoying hobbies and days out. You might:

  • Support James as he volunteers at a local food bank
  • Help Lucy get ready for horse riding
  • Cheer on Graham as he grows in independence
  • Join David as he starts his next creative project

It's about being there, encouraging independence and celebrating what makes each person who they are.
