Teacher of Religious Studies

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Religious Studies (RS) who is enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated. Religious Studies is a core GCSE subject at Holmer Green and is a very popular A level subject. We are looking for an excellent teacher who is ambitious for all our students, is passionate about Religious Studies and who would welcome the chance to flourish in a dynamic area.

We offer you:

• Supportive Culture: We value collaboration, professional growth, and wellbeing. Our staff benefit from strong coaching and a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
• Professional Development: We invest in your future with tailored CPD opportunities, leadership pathways, and access to the latest teaching strategies.
• Innovative Approach: Our curriculum is dynamic and designed to inspire curiosity and achievement. We encourage creativity and innovation in the classroom.
• Community Spirit: Holmer Green Senior School is more than a workplace: it’s a community. We work closely with families and celebrate the success of every student.
• Excellent Facilities: Modern classrooms, specialist resources, and a commitment to technology-enhanced learning

We offer 8 staff training days (not the 5 you find in most schools), a two-week October half term and professional development of a high standard. We take our staff well-being seriously and offer weekly activities, like team sports and a brand new fitness suite.

If you are committed to making a difference and want to join a school that values hard work, kindness, and passion for education, we would love to hear from you.

To arrange a visit to the school or for an informal conversation, please call or email via the Head’s PA, Ms Ali McKee on 01494 712219 / [email protected]
