Monkshouse Primary School is a vibrant, two-form entry primary school with an attached Nursery. We deliver a curriculum that is exciting, engaging and inclusive and we aim to provide the best opportunities for teaching and learning which will inspire, motivate and engage all children.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic and inspiring teacher to join our friendly, supportive team to cover a maternity leave from January 2027.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Is enthusiastic and committed to providing children with a rich learning environment
  • Is able to challenge and engage pupils
