Teaching Assistant

Part-Time Teaching Assistant

• 19 hours per week - 39 weeks per year including five inset days.
• Grade 3, point 6-9
• Long Bennington C of E Primary Academy are currently seeking to appoint an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic part-time Teaching Assistant.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is dedicated, caring, enthusiastic, creative and inspiring and has the skill set to support all children to become the best
• Has excellent communication and team working skills
• Is able to promote social and personal development
• Is confident in supporting phonics
• Is able to foster excellent working relationships with the children they are working with
• Is committed to developing their own skills
• Is committed to delivering high-quality support and intervention work
• Is able to prepare and adapt resources and teaching materials
• Has good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent) and NVQ 2 (or equivalent) Teaching Assistant Qualification.
